You can ask us to delete your Plan B VPN profile and everything stored with it at any time, without installing the application. This page describes how, and exactly what is deleted.
Plan B Planner accounts are deleted separately, in the application or at plnb.app/delete-account.
How to request deletion
- Send an email to info@impeltech.us with the subject "Delete my VPN profile".
- Include your access code or the profile name your administrator gave you. We hold no name, email address or phone number for VPN profiles, so without one of these we cannot identify the right record.
- We confirm by reply and delete the profile within 7 days, and in any case within 30 days.
You may also ask the administrator who issued your code to revoke it; revocation stops access immediately, and we then delete the profile record on the schedule above.
What is deleted
- The access code and the profile name.
- The tunnel key material and the internal address assigned to the profile.
- The random installation identifier that was stored with the profile.
- Any note the administrator added to the profile.
Deleting a profile ends access at once. It cannot be undone; a new code has to be issued to restore access.
What remains, and for how long
- Server access logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) — deleted on their normal schedule, no later than 7 days after the request was made.
- Email correspondence with us, including your deletion request — kept for up to 24 months so we have a record that the request was made and honoured.
- Nothing else. Because the service records no browsing history, no DNS queries and no traffic contents, there is no such data to delete.
Deleting data stored on your device
Uninstalling the application removes everything it kept locally: the access code, the tunnel configuration and your per-application exclusion list. That list is never sent to us, so it exists only on your device.
